Call to Submissions

Wande Magazine welcomes submissions and contributions from prospective writers.

Wande Magazine specializes in the art of long form writing. Wande Magazine believes in storytelling, we are not just another news magazine focusing on Kashmir. We work with longer, expository articles which could be reportage, reviews or commentary. We publish long-form reportage, essays, fiction, poetry, memoirs, reviews (book/film/music/theatre/food/), photo-features, translation and art work. We believe in the submersion of categories – so writing, for example, which collapses fiction and personalized memoir into one, is also welcome. We believe in publishing work which is cutting edge, engaging and promotes discussion and debate. We are anti-bigotry and pro-progressive. We believe in publishing work which engages it’s audiences in stretching the limits of what’s known and acceptable; in short promoting radical experiences and thoughts in every sphere of human life.

We don’t have a bar on the word limit of the articles but we don’t accept anything lesser than 1000 words. We seek only original work. Work, which has been previously published elsewhere, will be rejected.

We prefer to receive work in MS Word attachments. If its art work such as photos, illustrations please send us .jpeg format files only.

While sending in your work, please attach the following information in the body of the mail or at the bottom of the word file attachments – Name, Address, Phone/Mobile number, Email Address, Age and a brief bio.
